Functional nutrition for individuals with persistent GI symptoms

Your stomach shouldn’t get the final say in your plans.

Bloating after meals. Constipation that keeps you guessing. A growing list of foods you’re nervous to eat. Let’s make sense of what’s happening and build a plan around you.

Eating “better” shouldn’t leave you more confused about what to eat.

You’ve changed your diet, cut out half your favorite foods, tried the supplements, and somehow even ChatGPT seems to be running out of answers. You’re still uncomfortable. You deserve support that helps you sort through it and decide what actually makes sense for you.

Does any of this sound familiar?

You’re making it through the day.
Your digestion is making it a project.

There’s the physical discomfort. Then there’s everything you do around it: checking menus, packing backup snacks, changing outfits, trying to predict how you’ll feel three hours from now.

It takes up a lot of space. Especially when people hear “bloating” and assume you just had a big lunch.

  • You start the morning feeling fine and end it unbuttoning your jeans.
  • You’re eating the same few “safe” foods, and even those feel unpredictable.
  • Your supplement shelf is expanding. Your clarity is not.
  • You’d like to enjoy a meal without conducting the post-meal investigation.

You've probably tried enough things to know that guessing isn't getting you very far. At Soothe, I want to understand what's actually contributing to your symptoms, not just find more ways to work around them.

That means getting specific: your gut bacteria, digestive function, markers of inflammation, bowel patterns, health history, and how your lifestyle fits into the picture. We use testing to dig deeper, put the findings into context, and make informed decisions about where to focus.

Sounds like a lot? It is. But making sense of it is my job. You've already spent enough time trying to figure out what your stomach wants from you.

Before working with Ziba, I felt like I was constantly bloated no matter what I ate. I never knew what foods were making me feel worse or what I was supposed to be eating to actually feel better. It was so frustrating feeling uncomfortable all the time and second-guessing everything I ate.

Working with Ziba has made such a difference. My bloating has improved so much, and I no longer have to worry about whether my clothes will still fit comfortably by the end of the day or if I'll be miserable after eating. It's honestly such a relief.

But beyond the bloating, she's completely changed my relationship with food. I finally understand what works for my body and what makes me feel good, without feeling like I need to cut everything out or follow a restrictive diet. Everything we've worked on has been realistic and easy to incorporate into my everyday life, which has made such a difference.

I feel so much more confident around food and finally feel like I can enjoy eating without constantly worrying about how I'll feel afterward.

I didn't have to put my life on hold to work on my health.

I worked with Ziba for 5 months, and my biggest takeaway was learning just how interconnected the skin, gut, and lifestyle really are. It sounds like common sense, but Ziba helped me realize that the smallest changes, when done consistently and in the right combination, can make the biggest difference.

There's so much noise around trying restrictive diets or making drastic lifestyle changes that just aren't realistic. What I loved about working with Ziba was how personalized and manageable everything felt. She's incredibly knowledgeable about how different foods and products affect your gut, and her recommendations fit seamlessly into my crazy schedule of working full time, kids, traveling, and moving two times throughout our time together.

I'd had some success making changes on my own before, but nothing ever stuck. Now, even five months after finishing our work together, I still practice everything Ziba taught me without even thinking twice about it. People closest to me have even commented on how much more comfortable and flexible I seem around food, which really says it all. I'm so grateful for this experience!

Someone finally took me seriously.

“For the first time, I felt like someone was taking my symptoms seriously and genuinely wanted to understand what was going on rather than just telling me what to cut out of my diet.”

I had spent so much time going from doctor to doctor trying to figure out why I was constantly bloated, uncomfortable, and reacting to foods that never used to bother me. Before seeing Ziba I felt like I was doing everything I was supposed to, but still wasn't getting answers or feeling any better. It was honestly exhausting. What immediately felt different about working with Ziba was how much she actually listened. For the first time, I felt like someone was taking my symptoms seriously and genuinely wanted to understand what was going on rather than just telling me what to cut out of my diet.

She took the time to understand my lifestyle, my symptoms, and what was realistic for me. Nothing felt overwhelming or like I had to completely change my life to feel better. Everything was personalized. I finally felt like I had a plan that made sense for my body.

I'm so grateful for the experience, not just because of the progress I've made, but because I finally felt heard, supported, and like I had someone in my corner who genuinely cared about helping me feel better.

Five months later, I have zero gut issues

“By our third session I was eating foods I thought I’d never touch again and wasn’t looking pregnant by the end of the day.”

Working with Ziba was honestly life changing. I came in with bloating, acid reflux, and stomach pain, and I had kind of accepted that I’d be avoiding garlic, onion, and basically all FODMAPs for the rest of my life. We did gut testing to see what was happening in my gut and by our second session it was already night and day.

By our third session I was eating foods I thought I’d never touch again and wasn’t looking pregnant by the end of the day. After 5 months, I've never felt more normal since I have zero gut issues (feels crazy to say this now).

It's clear Ziba is determined to fix your gut issues from the beginning. If you’ve been dealing with GI issues, go see her. You won't regret it.

I care about the details. Especially the ones you've been told don't matter.

I’m Ziba Klein, MS, CNS, a Certified Nutrition Specialist and Functional Nutritionist. I work with people dealing with persistent bloating, abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, reflux, and the kind of unpredictable digestion that makes eating feel unnecessarily complicated.

I also know what it's like to be on the other side of it. When I was struggling with my own digestive symptoms, I was told everything looked "normal." Meanwhile, my clothes weren't fitting, eating felt like a gamble, and I was spending far too much time trying to figure out what my stomach would tolerate.

That experience eventually led me to study Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine, and it's a big part of why I started Soothe.

Today, I help people look beyond the obvious, investigate the patterns behind their symptoms, and make informed changes that fit into their lives. I believe your symptoms deserve more than a quick explanation or another list of foods to avoid. I take the details seriously, even the ones you might feel a little awkward bringing up (especially those, actually).

How Soothe can help

A plan you understand. Support while you put it into practice.

Digestive issues rarely fit neatly into one appointment. Figuring out what may be contributing to them takes more than a list of foods to avoid.

The Soothe Package includes five private consultations over approximately five months, GI-MAP stool testing*, and guidance between visits. We'll take a closer look at what's happening, build a plan around what we find, and adjust along the way. You'll understand what we're doing, why we're doing it, and have someone to turn to when questions come up.

01 · Time to get the full story

Five one-to-one consultations

We start with a 75-minute deep dive into your symptoms, health history, and everything you've already tried. From there, you'll have a 60-minute results and strategy session and three 45-minute follow-ups. Because there's a difference between giving someone recommendations and actually seeing how they're working.

02 · A closer look at your gut

Functional testing, with a purpose

GI-MAP stool testing gives us insight into specific gut microbes and markers related to digestion and intestinal inflammation. I look at those findings alongside your symptoms, health history, and digestive patterns to help determine what deserves attention.

We'll spend a full session reviewing your results, what they may mean, and how they inform your plan. Not every flagged number needs its own supplement.

03 · Recommendations with a reason

Personalized recommendations

Nutrition, lifestyle, and supplement recommendations are chosen based on your history, symptoms, and relevant findings. I'll explain what we're working on, why it matters, and what changes we're looking for.

If something isn't helping or doesn't fit your life? We reassess (that's part of the process).

04 · You're not on your own

Support between appointments

Questions have a way of showing up about five minutes after an appointment ends.

You can reach me by email or through our client messaging portal between sessions. I'll get back to you within 48 hours, so you're not left trying to piece everything together on your own.

*Options without testing are available. Package details and rates are shared before your discovery call.

A little less guesswork

Here’s where we begin.

01 · Let’s talk

Tell me what's been going on.

We'll start with a complimentary 15-minute call. Tell me what's been happening, what you've already tried, and what you're hoping to change. I'll explain how I work, answer your questions, and we'll see whether we're a good fit.

02 · Let's get into the details

I want to hear the whole story.

If we work together, I want to know when your symptoms started, what makes them better or worse, what you've tried, and how they're affecting your life. Your initial consultation is where we dig into your symptoms, health history, digestion, lifestyle, and previous testing. I want to understand how the pieces fit together, including the connections that might have been overlooked.

03 · Build from there

A plan with a reason behind it.

We'll turn the information we've gathered into a targeted plan, prioritizing the changes most relevant to your symptoms and goals. I'll walk you through the reasoning, monitor how things are going, and make thoughtful adjustments as we go. Every recommendation should have a reason behind it.

You don’t need to try one more thing on your own

Your life has better things in itthan thinking about your gut all day.

Let’s talk about what’s happening, what you’ve tried, and what kind of support would feel useful. You can start with “I honestly don’t know where to begin.”
